First Ever Handbag.
The design is called "Quilted Patchwork Tote Bag"
by Sweetpea Machine Embroidery Designs.
Using the 4 x 4 blocks,which are embroidered in the hoop using the embroidery machine,while the completion of the bag is finished using your regular sewing machine.
I changed the side handles to an over the shoulder strap and then Googled how to add the hardware to the strap.
Added some pockets to the inside.
These are not included in the pattern.So googled how to add the pockets (love those Youtube video's) will place links below.
I added a 2 inch floral border to the top of the bag.
My finished bag was approx.
41cm W x 32cm H x 11.5cm D
or
16" D x 101/2 H x 4 1/2 D
